Open-Close Stage in 2022

Would you also like to stand on the stage of Sunsation, that is possible. On Friday evening 17 June we traditionally organize the Open-Close Stage. Here you can recite your own poetry or stories. You get 7 minutes of stage time for this. You can easily register by sending an email to openpodium@festivalsunsation.nl† Briefly state information about yourself, your poems and what else you want to say.

We hope to be able to offer you an overnight stay at our festival campsite again this year. Staying overnight is free with a tent, caravan or motorhome.

The road next to the Observatory belongs to the festival site and is used for overnight stays in a camper and caravan, the tents can be placed on the grounds of the Observatory. Of course you bring your own camping gear, we provide the food and drinks and a cozy campfire.

The Observatory is an example of land art or landscape art: a combination of visual art and architecture. This art form originated in the United States in the late 1960s. Artists created special objects and places using the landscape. The observatory is managed by the Flevo landscape.

The observatory is managed by the Flevo Landscape. The Flevo landscape wants to preserve, protect and develop Flevoland's nature as well as possible, while at the same time ensuring that the residents and visitors of this province can enjoy it as much as possible.Ecology has priority when maintaining and developing nature, but if The site management organization The Flevo landscape also pays attention to the preservation of the landscape and cultural history and, where possible, to recreational opportunities. Broadening the functions of nature is therefore only possible if nature benefits on balance.

More information about the Flevo landscape and its nature reserves and the many activities can be found on the Flevo landscape website.  www.flevo- landscape.nl
