French Chansons by Caroline Rutten & Dirk Overbeek
Singer Caroline Rutten, winner of the 35th Concours de la Chanson Alliance Française, will present a program with French chansons of all times together with accordionist Dirk Overbeek. There will be classics by Brel, Aznavour and Piaff as well as contemporary repertoire by Zaz, for example. The duo has made their own arrangements of all the chansons, in order to make the most of each song in this intimate line-up of accordion and vocals.
This year, the Grachtenfestival takes place in the beautiful Nieuw Park Lelystad, at 3 different locations that are connected within walking distance. Come to one of the three concerts that start at 13.00 and walk, cycle or drive from there to the other concerts while enjoying the beautiful surroundings along the way. This mini-festival is one you don't want to miss!
