What does The Flevo landscape do? How do the plans of the landscape come about? What does a ranger do? How big is a bald eagle, what does a moose eat and what sound does a female cuckoo make? At the end of June, Flevolanders can personally pose these (and hundreds of other questions) to the forest rangers and employees of Het Flevo landscape.
On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June, Het Flevo- Landschap is organizing two open days in Lelystad Nature Park. Flevoland nature lovers can get acquainted with the work, the employees and the (future) vision of the Flevo landscape during 'Meet the Flevo landscape'. Visitors get a look behind the scenes, can go out with the forester and can ask all their nature questions.
During Meet the Flevo landscape there is plenty to see and experience in the nature park. There are free guided tours, walks, boat trips and all sorts of other activities. There is also plenty to do for children, for example they can explore the water garden with scoop nets or build a bird house.
Meet The Flevo landscape is freely accessible to anyone who loves Flevoland's nature.
