Unforgettable sailing experience

Bounty is a beautiful traditional square rigged sailing ship of the Brigantijn type. With her 9 sails of a total of 405 square meters of sail area and more than 114 lines to control all this, this is a unique ship on the Dutch inland waterways.

From April to October, Sailing Ship Bounty offers you the opportunity to enjoy a day's holiday on the water in your own country with your friends and family. This day out on the water has something for everyone, thanks to our accessible and hospitable crew and the comfortable space everyone can help with everything on the ship. Of course you are welcome on our lounge deck where you can enjoy the elements on the water in the home-styled beanbags with an unobstructed view.

Thanks to the safe construction of the ship, children can walk around without worries and experience their own experience. They can search for our treasure chest and help set the sails as a pirate or steer in the wheelhouse as a captain. Thanks to these activities, your children will be provided with hours of entertainment and fun and you can also enjoy your boating trip without any worries

Did you know that! We are also a floating restaurant? With our professionally equipped galley you can taste the most famous burger of the Markermeer, we also offer an extensive menu list with other delicacies and we also offer options for vegetarians or dieters.

What does this fun event look like: 

• 11:00 Welcome on board with a welcome drink.
• 11.30am Palaver (safety briefing). Bundles loose!
• 11:45 am – 3:20 pm: Beautiful sailing trip on the Marker or IJsselmeer. Active sailors will receive an explanation about sailing transversely & alongside rigged, making knots, navigating and you can even stand behind the helm. As a passive sailor, Bounty offers these people one of several lounge cushions, so that they can relax on deck and enjoy the elements of sailing with a tasty snack and/or drink.
• 15.30 Return to Bataviahaven in Lelystad.

Order a delicious lunch / snacks and cooled drinks on board at reasonable prices. Payment can be made by PIN, cash or credit card.

Price 59 euros pp
Children from 4 to 12 years: 29.50 euros pp
Children 0 to 3 years free.

Booking information:

• Own consumption is not permitted, with the exception of special allergies or diets.
• Minimum of 25 participants; Register in time, so that we can prepare the organization properly.
  During the pre-booking period it is possible that a date can be changed due to too few participants and/or another booking.
• Does a new date not fit your agenda? Then you will receive a refund minus admin. costs or a voucher with 2 years validity.
