Corneel is Lelystad's pop venue and with a capacity of 400 visitors the largest pop venue in the province of Flevoland. Due to the broad programming of concerts, dance and dance evenings, Corneel occupies a unique position in the Lelystad cultural and entertainment circuit.

Corneel programs a large number of concerts and events each year. In addition, Corneel makes every effort to realize special projects in collaboration with other venues and cultural institutions. In addition to these own activities, Corneel offers the possibility to rent the rooms.

Corneel runs for the most part on volunteers. Working with volunteers gives Corneel a specific charm. Whether they work in the wardrobe, by the light or sound or behind the turntable: passion for music is what drives our volunteers.

Our stage also plays a major role in developing talent in the region. Local bands can practice in soundproof rehearsal rooms and gain stage experience as support acts for well-known acts.

Corneel is part of the Kubus Lelystad foundation. Corneel also regularly organizes concerts in the main hall of De Kubus, which can accommodate 700 visitors. The Dubliners, BLØF, De Dijk, Hennie Vrienten, Feuerengel and Pink Floyd Project (photo) have already played here.

Corneel supports the I Love my Ears campaign because we think it is important that you can not only enjoy good music now, but also in twenty years' time. Therefore, take good care of your ears.
