Kubus connects as many (young) Lelystad residents with art and culture as possible. Whether that happens at Kubus itself, in schools or in the neighborhoods, stimulating enthusiasm in (the practice of) art and developing creative talent is all that matters. Kubus offers art and culture for everyone: at school and during leisure time. For young and old. For people with disabilities. From beginner to advanced. In addition, Kubus is theater, concert hall, open stage and exhibition space in one.
Varied art offer
Every year, more than 70 employees compile a very varied range of art in which more than 2000 course participants, pupils, teachers and residents of the neighborhood participate. Everyone in Lelystad will bump into Kubus sooner or later. We provide tailor-made workshops for groups, for example for a staff outing, team building or children's party.
Kubus is an important partner in both secondary and primary education in the field of arts and cultural education. In addition, the Education sector provides tailor-made solutions for schools and responds to current events.
Kubus organizes a number of recurring events, often in collaboration with various institutions. Such as the LelySTART festival, De Culturele Haven, Month of the Amateur Art and Toddler Toddler Festijn. We support groups and organizations where possible.
