The Kotterbos borders the Oostvaardersplassen in Almere. The forest consists of poplars and a wet area with rugged reed beds and willow groves. Deer, foxes, hares and sometimes beavers live here. Fishermen can cast their fishing rod in peace and quiet in the nearby Vaart. Put on your walking shoes and follow the Poplar Route (3.5 km) or the Eiken Route (5 km).
The Kotterbos has a very extensive outdoor sports infrastructure, so whether you want to get on the water with a kayak, canoe or raft, or just want to avoid the water during the many rope and obstacle courses, it is all!
