Sail along with the historic ferry 'Ms Waddenzee' through the most famous reclamation project in the world: the Zuiderzee Works.
A ship with a story
The antique ferry MS Waddenzee sails around Lelystad. Where the ship was used as a ferry between Holwerd and Ameland from 1921 to 1960, it is now used for sailing trips.
In the luggage room you can see an exhibition about the history of Flevoland. The stories are told on the basis of old suitcases. Would you also like to rummage in someone else's suitcase? What baggage does someone or an entire province carry with them?
Experience and relive the stories of the pioneers and sail through history, the present and the future.
Did you know that even Queen Wilhelmina was on board the Ms Waddenzee in 1925?
Ms Waddenzee is moored at the Batavialand jetty. (Bataviaplein 2, Lelystad)
