You can eat well, have a chat with the chef and have a drink with your friends. The kitchen, bar, restaurant and warm atmosphere provide a wonderful living room feeling. Whether you are a carnivore or a veg lover, a fish eater or a salad pick - at de Brass there is something for everyone. Your main course is yours, and we also serve beautiful vegetables, fries and potatoes to share. This way you eat just like at home, without your steak disappearing into someone else's mouth.

Culinary inspiration
From Hong Kong to Zeeland and from Maastricht to Lelystad. The chef gets his inspiration from everywhere. All the ingredients he uses, everything he tastes and every market he visits: he stores it all in his head. At De Brass this comes together in brasserie dishes without fuss. They serve beautiful, but especially tasty dishes. Funky combinations and fixed classics. Dishes that the owners also like to eat. Beefsteak or perch, spinach, green bean or chard, De Brass has it. Inspired by the seasons, from all over the world and prepared in Lelystad. Just good food.

Years ago, De Brass opened its doors under the name 'Brasserie de Houtrib' in one of the most famous harbors of Lelystad. The brasserie has quickly become a household name in Flevoland and Brasserie de Houtrib is affectionately shortened by regular guests as 'de Brass'.
