The Oostvaardersplassen is not freely accessible, but there are a number of viewpoints along the edges where you have a good view of the countless bird species that this area is rich in. And with a bit of luck you can also see the large grazers such as red deer, Konik horses and Heck cattle. Slightly better detective work is needed for smaller game such as fox, deer and hare.
