WV het Bovenwater

For many years, WV het Bovenwater has been an association with a
regional function, which has an important focus on youth sailing.
Fun in water sports is the reason for our existence. The Union
has beautiful grounds with good facilities. The water
that we use is excellent for open boat classes. From
the municipality and the water board have a dispensation for the association
to accompany sailors with motor boats. There are no others
motorized vessels permitted on the Bovenwater. That makes the
environment great for youth who enjoy the basics of sailing
want to learn in a safe way. We do this by training in the
optimist from level CWO1 to CWO3. 

Competition sailing: 

The association has a long tradition of developing it
youth sailing. Many children have once started to be an optimist for them
CWO1 diploma and grew to be regional and
have measured themselves (inter-) nationally with other sailing talents. A
number of classes is at the association with training and competitions
supports; such as the optimist, splash, laser 4.7 and laser radial. In
the two person classes are the RS feva and the 420. Our association
has the ambition to also let the two-person classes grow. 

Recreational sailing: 

Not everyone enjoys joining forces with others around
to measure buoys. Our water is excellent for you
relax. A recreation committee organizes several for this
activities, and also invites others through boarding days
get acquainted with sailing. Have a fleet of six centaurs
we are at our disposal and in addition there are many members with
your own boat, who would like to bring someone along 

Sailing lessons: 

In addition to the youth sailing lessons, adults and older youth can also
learn to sail at our association. A team of instructors will let you on
enjoy the pleasure of the together with others in a pleasant way
Aquatics. By taking the lessons you will become proficient in the
sailing skills, until you can sail independently. Then you can work
more insight and more skill. A nice trajectory for
for example parents whose child is going sailing and that experience themselves
from their youth. This way you can enjoy together with your child
of sailing and going to do it together.
