Walking route above water
With this route you take a special walk on the border between land and water.
From the shopping center in Lelystad-Haven you walk along the bank of 't Bovenwater. Don't forget to enjoy the view. The gravel paths take you to a cozy beach. Then you walk a bit through the wooded nature reserve the Hollandse Hout and you arrive at the Knardijk. The view here is also magnificent. From the dike you look out over the Oostvaardersplassen and 't Bovenwater. Then you walk back to Lelystad-Haven via the Oostvaardersdijk, where you take a look at the place that played an important role in the creation of Lelystad: the former Werkeiland.
