Hiking route Gelderse Hout
Lelystad is surrounded by a green belt of parks, forests and nature reserves.
In a number of places, the greenery penetrates deep into the city. This makes Lelystad attractive for walking.
From the NS station we walk through the Woldpark and the Woldbos to the Gelderse Hout. Here we follow the Henkepad, a path that was once built by the gym teacher Henk Breukelman. Then we cross the Woldbos again and walk back to the center via the City Park and the green parts of the Atoll district.
